Ascent Accounting & Consulting, LLC is owned by Linda Peebles. She has worked in the government contracting field for over 10 years with a variety of clients. She is a Certified Public Accountant and served in the US Army. Linda currently specializes in providing support and training to small government contractors who are implementing DCAA compliant software. Linda’s skills and calm, steady demeanor are found to be extremely valuable in preparing clients for accounting system reviews. Linda trains these government contractor clients on various accounting processes, including maintaining accounting records on an accrual basis, cost segregation, payroll processing, and invoicing. She focuses on industry specific requirements such as compliant timekeeping and segregating costs, as well as researching client issues in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Linda is a Certified eFAACT Advisor and is proficient in QuickBooks Time and Clockwise Timekeeping.
